About Us

After raising five kids and enjoying the empty nester life for a bit, I decided peace and quiet wasn't my thing and made the leap to start Downtown Dandy.  Well since we do most things as a family (trust me, we're A LOT to take), I instantly had 5 style gurus, 11 big time supporters, and 5 littles who don't care what Grammy does as long as she sends treats!

I've always loved fashion, and as I experienced all the sizes: up, then down, then up, then down, then up (you get the idea)... I saw all the cute clothes in smaller sizes and a bunch of flowery polyester tunics and ill-fitting jeans in the larger sizes.  Bob Fosse once said, "If you think you can do better, then do better."  Challenge accepted, Bob.
